Suns' captain Linton Jacobs, all-rounder Cameron Taylor and opening batsman Travis King have been picked in Victoria's team of 13 for the Australian Country Cricket Championships, which will be held in Canberra from January 7 to 14.
With three members selected, the Bendigo District Cricket Association has the most representatives in the Victorian team, which will be coached by Jason Mathers.
The squad has been cut to 13 following two months of selection trials.
"We've assembled a strong squad," Mathers said.
"Our bowlers are very strong this year and we've selected a more varied attack, which should do well."
The Victorian side will again be captained by Wendouree's Heath Pyke, who led the side last season in Bundaberg.
This is Pyke's eighth selection in the team.
"Heath's experience as captain is invaluable, so it's great to have him in the team," Mathers said.
Jacobs, Taylor and King will miss the Suns' round nine one-day game against Golden Square while in Canberra.
