Neylon was awarded the Bill Leinhop Trophy at Monday night’s BDCA junior cricket awards.
Despite still qualifying for the under-18 competition, Neylon spent the entire season in the first XI where he opened the batting, bowled off-spin and helped the Suns to the first XI premiership.
The individual highlights of Neylon’s season were his maiden first XI century against Golden Square and 98 against Sandhurst.
Neylon’s premiership team-mates Ben DeAraugo, Linton Jacobs and Cam Taylor are previous winners of the Bill Leinhop award.
